Art, Health and Humanities (NOCKS)

The knowledge center is engaged in a range of activities focusing on art and health:
- Generating knowledge about art, culture, and health, including mechanisms of action, effects, experiences, assessment methods, professionalism, intervention development, and ethics.
- Participating in the establishment, support, and development of research projects where art and cultural experiences are specifically applied to promote public health.
- Offering professional development courses on using cultural activities to promote health.
- Organizing theme days and conferences for researchers and practitioners to disseminate knowledge and foster debate on how culture can promote health.
- Actively participating in political discussions and debates about culture and health.

Knowledge Network Group
The Knowledge Network for Art, Health and Humanities (NOCKS) is a collaboration between Aalborg University, Aalborg University Hospital, the North Denmark Region, and Aalborg Municipality.
The Knowledge Network comprises representatives from each institution in the collaboration, along with relevant researchers and experts who can be invited to participate and involved in specific projects on an ongoing basis. The network group meets 4-6 times a year.
