In order to find out if you match the entry requirements, you can contact the Admission Office at: studiekontor@aau.dk and submit scanned copies of your diplomas from high school and college – this will make it possible for them to assess whether or not you meet the entry requirements. They will be able to make an assessment within two weeks.
No, you do not need to have a background within - or knowledge about electronics or technology. The technology courses will start from basics and build on top of that. All the knowledge and skills you need in order to execute the semester projects will be acquired during the semester courses.
Studens from EU/EEA countries won't have to pay tuition fee. Please note that students from outside the EU/EEA will have to pay tuition. Students from partner universities outside the EU/EEA will not be charged tuition.
No, Art and Technology is a full time study. The exams are based on project work which is executed in groups during the full semester.
The study is a tree year bachelor conducted in Danish, although some lectures and courses will be held in English. [MOU1] The bachelor consists of 6 semesters, with a main project on each semester. Furthermore, each semester have smaller workshops, projects and assignments. The courses give a basic knowledge in art history, programming, art theories and methods usable for the semester projects and assignments. Project work is executed in groups consisting of 2-6 people.

By doing group work you have the advantage of embracing the projects further by using each other’s competences and skills. In addition, doing group work adds to the social study and you will easily get to know the people in your group. New groups are formed each semester and the groups receive supervision from a teacher related to the study. Within the group. the group must organize their time, content of the project and the exhibition solution themselves.
We recommend that your computer is able to run graphical programs such as the Adobe softwares (Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Indesign) and 3D programs (Google Sketchup, RhinoCeros) as they are used during lectures and can be helpful when doing projects.
